First Aid Classes:
Our 2 to 2 1/2 hour "hands on" live first aid training class includes instruction on scene survey, recognizing the signs and symptoms of sudden illness, shock or injuries. Methods of treating patients with injuries: controlling bleeding, bandaging, splinting, transporting patients, and treating victims for shock.
CPR/First Aid Classes:
Our 4 to 4 1/2 hour CPR/First Aid combination class incorporates "hands on" live first aid training with adult, child and infant CPR training and includes instruction on scene survey, recognizing the signs and symptoms of sudden illness, shock or injuries. Methods of treating patients with injuries: controlling bleeding, bandaging, splinting, transporting patients, and treating victims of shock. Triage principles and legal aspects of providing first aid. Rescue breathing techniques, airway obstruction and coking prevention. Basic description of physiology and anatomy of the heat and lungs. Recognition and treatment of cardiopulmonary emergencies such as heat attacks, strokes, seizures, blood borne pathogen and personal protection, as well as the good samaritan laws.
Classes are available on-site at your location or at our training center
All class's meet current OSHA guidelines and the most recent American Heart Association guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation & Emergency Cardiovascular Care.
